Fire up your bikes and let Omnibus light the way with a cycle ride to remember!

Back by popular demand, expect extraordinary Light performances, music and installations as you ride your bikes alongside our travelling soundscape across Lambeth’s green spaces.

Escorted by our safety-conscious Cycle Confident marshals, we’ll be starting at the Polygon in Clapham Old Town and making our way round Clapham Common right through to Brixton Windmill with many a sight to see along the route. A magical experience for cyclists of all skills and ages that is not to be missed.

You’ll see… LANTERNS, LIGHTS AND ENTERTAINERS

You’ll hear… MUSIC, SINGERS AND TRAVELLING SOUNDSCAPES

Festive Light Ride is brought to you by Omnibus, Lambeth Sustainable Transport and Cycle Confident.

If you don’t have a bike or you have mobility issues and may require an adapted bike please email cycling@lambeth.gov.uk for options.

Audience praise for our previous rides:

“It was such a delight to feel like the street had, for a very few minutes, been taken over by people marveling at things, rather than by traffic.”

“People came out of their houses to cheer us on, the animation was truly magical and brought a tear to my eye. I will definitely be coming back next year!”
