Come to Streatham and join in a series of free events to mark International Day of Peace on September 21! Celebrations kick- off on Friday 19 and culminate on Sunday 21 September.

Find a little peace in Streatham

With conflicts in Ukraine, Syria and Iraq dominating the headlines, this International Day of Peace Streatham is advocating for peace by hosting free Little Big Peace events.

Running from 19-21 September, these events are an opportunity to learn how to be a peacemaker in your own life, in your community and throughout the world.

Events include:

Friday 19 September

Peace Inside: Peace Outside 7.30pm – An evening of music, film shorts a guest speaker and more.

Saturday 20 September

Relaxation Day 11-4.00pm – An afternoon of Reiki, meditation and yoga, you’ll leave feeling more at peace with yourself and everyone around you.

Sunday 21 September

Royal Opera House Family Workshop 2.15 – 3.30pm – Parents or guardians of  children between 6 and 13 years-old are invited to bring them to this free singalong session to get a taste of what opera’s about.

The Day after Peace  6.30pm – A screening of a documentary starring Jude Law and Angelina Jolie.
