The Vauxhall Park Summer Fair is a wonderful community event and is always great fun and very good humoured. We hope to welcome many of our fellow Lambeth residents whether they’re helping out, promoting their business or just coming along to enjoy the fun.

Volunteers needed for Vauxhall Park Summer Fair

The Friends of Vauxhall Park are holding their summer fair, sponsored by Winkworth, on Sunday 21 June from 2-5pm and are looking for volunteers to help the day go with a swing.

We are also very keen to support small businesses and community groups and have pitches available to bring them to the attention of the large crowd that comes to this well established event.

Could you help us to steward during the event?  You will need to come to the Park (just down the South Lambeth Road from the Vauxhall transport interchange (tube, bus, train, and there is free parking all day long) at 1.30pm for a stewards briefing.  If you can spare the whole afternoon, or just a small amount of time, we’d appreciate it.

We will have donkey rides, motorised go karts, a rodeo bull, children’s’ games galore, teas and delicious homemade cakes, hot food, ice creams from a vintage ice cream van, not just one bouncy castle but also a giant inflatable slide, Punch and Judy, Crazy Golf, musical entertainments including Valentinos Jazz Band, football training by Chelsea Football Club, giant tea cups and a dog show,

If you are able to help on the day, get in touch with Polly Freeman: pollyf@talktalk.net / 07901 855 887.
