Free Tai Chi classes in Windmill Gardens

Friends of Windmill Gardens are pleased to announce that we have been successful in gaining funding from the Mayor of London to organise FREE tai chi exercise sessions in Windmill Gardens, Brixton Hill on Saturday mornings.

Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that helps with breathing, encourages movement among those who may not be able to access conventional exercise classes and is extremely helpful in dealing with stress. It is also suitable for those who live with disability and our Tai Chi tutor, Nigel Gilderson, has many years of experience and is used to leading classes of very mixed abilities.

These will start on 16 January and continue for 13 weeks. You can attend when you are able and do not have to commit to all sessions. We hope that you will find the sessions friendly and welcoming.

The sessions take place in the open air so will go ahead weather permitting and we advise anyone coming to wear warm, loose clothing and suitable footwear.

We do hope that you will feel encouraged to join us on Saturday 16 January or any other Saturday morning from 11am-12 noon.  The sessions are free to everyone.
