The Foundry would like to invite you all to gather and witness the importance of paying London Living Wage.

LLW: What is it? Why pay it? Who pays it?

Find out how your business can benefit from becoming a Living Wage employer. Build on your knowledge and gain a better understanding of the Living Wage.

You will hear from Conrad Peberdy – Managing Director of Ethical Property, Jon Davies – Lambeth Labour Councillor, Lucy Bannister – The Living Wage Foundation, Bernard Collier – Vauxhall One, and Living Wage employers and employees.

Cllr Andy Wilson, Cabinet Member for Finance, said: “I’d encourage businesses and local residents to attend this event and find out more about the very real benefits of paying the London Living Wage. Receiving the rate can make a real difference in people’s lives, especially for those who struggle on low incomes.

Lambeth and the London Living Wage

“Lambeth is proud to be a London Living Wage employer with all staff and 99 per cent of its contracts all paying the rate at a minimum. We are also offering a one-off Business Rates discount to employers who become accredited London Living Wage employer in 2019/2020.”
