Following the fantastic success of last week’s free Feel Good Festival on Camberwell Green, with more than 600 visitors, Ruskin Park hosts the second free health and wellbeing event on Saturday 15 July 11am-3pm.

The Feel Good Festival is back for Summer 2023 with a Saturday festival packed full of free fun and engaging health and wellbeing activities – yoga, exercise, mindful arts and crafts, food pantry and smoothies, wellbeing gardening, physical and mental health checks and signposting – all free for the community.

Health and fun at the SE5 Feelgood Festival

Improve your mental and physical wellbeing with free gardening sessions and tree walks, yoga, tai chi and movement to music, mindful art workshops such as clay modelling.

Listen to music from a local choir, or get a unique henna tattoo or facepainting, all in the beautiful, uplifting setting of Ruskin Park on 15 July from 11am to 3pm.

Stay well with a mini-health check and signposting to local services at Lambeth Together’s Health & Wellbeing Bus. Taste delicious free smoothies from Healthy Living Platform, who will be running their community food pantry. 

There will also be essential community health support, with food pantry, health checks and mental health advice.

Cllr Jim Dickson, Lambeth Council Cabinet member for healthier Communities, said: “We are delighted the community forum has organized this wellbeing event for the second year running. It’s wonderful to see a partnership of professionals and volunteers offering free services for residents all ages in the fresh air environment of Ruskin Park. We hope the festival inspires long-term healthy living habits.”

  • The Feel Good Festival was launched by SE5 Forum, as a way of bringing the community together again with a focus on helping to improve everyone’s physical and mental health.
