More information
Pegasus Opera Company is a registered charity and the UK’s leading professional, multi-racial opera company. We have a long track record of staging high quality productions, while developing a new audience and presenting productions with which they can identify.
We exist to create opportunities for artists from diverse backgrounds to develop and perform in innovative opera productions. We strive to break down the elitist perceptions so often associated with opera. Our productions include both classics from the opera repertoire – the Magic Flute, Porgy and Bess, I Pagliacci – and innovative new works. For more about our work and our productions see our information pages; follow us on Facebook and twitter
Pegasus Opera are also appearing in Lambeth in Brixton Library on October 20 as part of Lambeth’s Black History Month – a month-long celebration of the culture that enriches all our lives. Find a full guide to events online
