If you know someone or a group of people that go that extra mile to make a positive contribution to the lives of others in the community, please nominate them for a Community Pride Award so we can thank them.

Lambeth Community Pride Awards – who will you nominate?

Nominations are now open to recognise the unsung heroes of the borough. The awards are about highlighting their selfless acts of kindness and giving them the recognition they deserve.

The categories

There are eight award categories and nominations are welcome from anybody who knows someone that they feel should be recognised.

1. Resident of the year
2. Young person’s community award
3. Bringing your neighbourhood together award
4. Innovation and enterprise award
5. Best garden award (individual property)
6. Best garden award (community garden)
7. Best food growing project
8. Voluntary or community organisation of the year award

You can also pick up a nomination form in your local library or housing office and post them to us.

Nominations close on Sunday 5 June 2016 at midnight.
