Everyone is invited to Lambeth’s Health and Wellbeing event

Councillor Jim Dickson, Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board said “I would like Lambeth’s residents and workers to come along and tell us what health and wellbeing looks like to them and what they think we should focus on in our new strategy.”

The event takes place on Thursday 25 June 2015 from 2.00pm to 7.00pm in Lambeth Town Hall and will include information stalls, activities about health and wellbeing, talks and discussions, health checks and refreshments.

There is no need to book – you can turn up on the day. Drop in at any time and stay for as long as you wish. If you have any particular communications or access needs, please let us know at Health&WellbeingBoard@lambeth.gov.uk or phone on 020 7926 6397

Full details of the Health and Wellbeing event.

We’re also running a health and wellbeing photo competition.

You can email your photos to the address above, or tweet them to us @lambeth_council using the hashtag #HWBLambeth showing us what health and wellbeing in Lambeth means to you. This might show examples of local activities or healthy eating. It might show something locally that promotes health and wellbeing. Or it might be something that needs to change for the future.

The top five images will be displayed at the event, and some may be used in the future strategy. Each winner will receive a High Street voucher worth £20. The competition deadline is 24 June.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 25 June 2015.
