Nominations for the 11 categories of awards open on 16 October and close on 26 November. Once the application deadline is closed, all entries will be considered by a panel of community partners and Lambeth Council Leaders for shortlisting.
If the Award criteria is met, anyone can nominate a resident, an individual, a community group, an organisation or a business who lives, works, or operates in Lambeth.
Cllr Claire Holland, Leader of the Council, said: “Lambeth’s people and their pioneering spirit, our vibrant business community and our passionate voluntary sector make it the special place it is. We want to celebrate and recognise these immense contributions and incredible people by holding the Civic Awards 2024.
“If you know an individual, group or organisation that makes a difference through their time, work, or passion to help others, nominate them for an award. Our community works incredibly hard to make Lambeth the best place to live, so let’s show them our appreciation!”
“Make sure you nominate for the awards so we can make sure they get the recognition they deserve. I cannot wait to see the amazing nominations and celebrate with everyone at our ceremony”
