Lambeth Council has worked with design students at Lambeth College who have produced illustrations to support the appeal.
Cllr Nanda Manley-Browne, Lambeth’s joint Cabinet Member for Healthier Communities, said: “All of us have an opportunity to make a heartwarming difference. For the fourth year running, the Lambeth Sanctuary Services team is hosting its much-loved Winter Celebration, bringing joy and festive cheer to sanctuary-seeking children across the borough.
“To help make this celebration extra special, everyone in the community is invited to buy a gift from the children’s wish list by Thursday, 18 December. Each present will be lovingly wrapped and delivered by Father Christmas himself during a joyful event for the children and their families.”
The wish list includes a range of gifts for different ages, making it easy to choose something meaningful. Gifts purchased through Amazon can be sent directly to Lambeth Town Hall. If not prompted automatically, please address them to:
Sanctuary Services, Lambeth Town Hall, 1 Brixton Hill, London SW2 1RW
Cllr Manley-Browne said: “This cherished tradition is more than just a celebration. It is a symbol of kindness, inclusion, and community spirit. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps ensure that every child seeking sanctuary in Lambeth feels welcome and valued during the festive season.
“Let’s come together once again to share warmth, generosity, and hope. With your support, we can make this year’s Winter Celebration shine brighter than ever.”
