London Mural Festival delights Lambeth residents

The London Mural Festival brought an impressive array of creativity to the city in September, with Lambeth emerging as one of the standout boroughs for mural installations. Artists transformed concrete walls into vibrant canvases, celebrating this year’s theme, connection.

Seven council estates were involved in the project and the artists taking part were often welcomed into residents’ homes to enjoy refreshments. Each mural tells its own story, often celebrating Lambeth’s rich and diverse cultural history with contemporary messages delighting both residents and visitors alike.

A map showing all the murals can be found at London Mural Festival.
