Children and young people - Opportunities

Oasis Hub Youth is an umbrella of projects and programmes for young people in North Lambeth. Mayor of Lambeth, Cllr Marcia Cameron, has chosen to support them during her term in office. Find out who they are, what their cause is and how you can get involved.

Mayor’s charities: Oasis Hub Youth

Our motto is “Developing character, transforming lives.” Oasis Hub Youth is tailored specifically to divert young people away from the dangers of knife violence, gangs and crime, and instead towards fulfilling healthy and empowered futures.

We achieve this though providing both crisis point and preventive support to at-risk young people when it is needed most. This varies vastly from mentoring victims of knife violence in St Thomas Hospital A&E, to running self-esteem building workshops in schools, to building character and resilience though a football academy.

‘Every young person matters’

At Oasis Hub Youth we believe every young person matters and that every young person deserves the support they need to reach their God-given potential. With your support we can do just that.

Mayor of Lambeth Cllr Marcia Cameron said: “I like the way they are, so organised and enthusiastic. I believe they can change people’s lives”

We’re raising £5000 to Lambeth Mayor’s Charities: Carers4Carers and Oasis Hub Youth.

Please donate to my JustGiving Crowdfunding Page and help make it happen.

Thanks for your support!
