A new service for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and questioning (LGBTQ) young people aged 13 – 19 has opened in Lambeth. The weekly group, called Star, provides a safe space for young people to be themselves, meet other people and take part in activities.
Safety messages will be spread throughout Lambeth next week, 23 to 29 November, to mark Road Safety Week 2015.
Lambeth libraries have teamed up with the South Bank Centre, Age UK Lambeth, University of the 3rd Age, Black Cultural Archive and Pegasus Opera, along with many individual artists and writers, to provide a fantastic month.
Fun Palaces is an annual, free, nationwide celebration of arts, culture and science. It will be a day filled with fun, interactive and participatory activities for everyone! There’ll be crafts, music, fun and games, theatre, art events, workshops, and science.
