There is always so much happening in Lambeth and this month is no exception – June Lambeth talk is a bumper 28 pages!

We have a special feature on the forthcoming opening of the Black Cultural Archives heritage centre in the heart of Brixton on Windrush Square.

In celebration of National volunteering week we say a big ‘thank you’ to our local volunteers and highlight a few volunteering opportunities you can get involved with in the borough. See page 6-7.

If you’re looking for a job in construction than take a look at our More jobs feature on page 8. You’ll find details of a construction recruitment day taking place on 17 June at Lambeth College.

This month we are raising awareness of teenage relationship abuse through the ‘this is Abuse’ campaign. Find out what it means and how you can get help if you need it on page 9.

If you’re looking for things to do in June, take a look at our guide to what’s on  – pages 20-21. There’s something for everyone, from festivals and fetes to cabaret and film screenings.
