During his visit, Santa will be giving out presents to boys and girls in his special grotto inside the Windmill. This year’s event is supported and funded by the Blenheim Gardens RMO and, as well as a chance to meet Santa there will be lots of family activities. New Brixton based gardening business Urban Canopy will be running a wreath making workshop and Art in the Heart will there showing visitors how to make Christmas decorations using all natural products including pines and straw. There will be an opportunity to meet the animals from Brixton City Farm and there’s face painting too.  If the family like music spin the Christmas tunes at a DJ’s workshop run by Grooveschool.

Seasonal refreshments will be available and, theres a chance to get some stocking fillers and do some Christmas shopping with Brixton Windmill gifts on sale at the event, including bags, t-shirts and cards as well as Windmill flour, perfect for Christmas baking.

Brixton Windmill will not be open for tours and visits to Santa will cost £2, with all monies raised on the day going towards the ongoing upkeep of Brixton Windmill. The event is supported by Blenheim Gardens RMO and the Peter Minet Trust. For further information, visit www.brixtonwindmill.org.
