Sports and physical activity in Lambeth

This is a great opportunity to gain a better and wider understanding of health and physical activity matters. Get information on funding and grants  available. Meet important external partners, such as GLL, Disability Advice Service, Fulham Football Club, London Sport, Sported -who will answer all your questions.

Also, you will  find out more about workforce and employability pathways available from our partners and you will be able to register in our forthcoming capacity building workshops. These workshops will be presented at the event and will cover the following club operational standards:

  • Business planning and structures
  • Club finances
  • Developing a marketing/social media strategy
  • Tax and PAYE understanding
  • Funding support for your organisation

We encourage community groups that do not deliver physical activity and sport as their main way of engaging people to take part. Please feel free to circulate this invitation throughout your network and partnerships!

The event is FREE and will be held on:

Date:      Tuesday 13th June 2017
Time:      6:00pm – 8:30pm
Venue:  “We Are 336”, 336 Brixton Road, SW9 7AA

To confirm your attendance, please complete the registration form on eventbrite.

If you would like more information about the evening, please email Rodney rcraig@lambeth.gov.uk or telephone the Community Sports Team on 020 7926 0396.
