The Friends of Streatham Common is a voluntary organisation, run by local residents.
We work with Lambeth Council and the Streatham Common Co-operative to ensure that Streatham Common and the Rookery are well kept and have facilities for all sections of our community, providing community views of the maintenance and development of the area in a way that balances the needs of diverse groups of users.
Friends of Streatham Common Barn Dance Fundraiser
Saturday 30 April, 7pm to 11pm.
Live music, entertainment, a great atmosphere and BBQ food (including vegetarian option).

Bird Box Survey
Sunday 8 May, 9:30am till around 11am.
Help us with our annual survey of which nest boxes on the Common are occupied and by which birds. Meet by the Rookery cafe at 9.30am. We will also be looking for other birds around the Common. Children welcome. Sturdy footwear recommended.
Streatham Common Kite Day
Sunday 15 May 2016, 11am to 5pm
The Friends of Streatham Common’s annual event for all kite lovers. Come and fly a kite, buy a kite, watch expert kite displays. Community stalls, children’s activities and food/drink all available, too.
Bat walk
Friday 20 May, 8:30pm
Dr Iain Boulton will be hosting one of his popular Bat Walks. Bat detectors provided. Children welcome.

Moths Close-Up

Meet by the Rookery cafe at 9.30am to take a close look with an expert at the moths that have been trapped overnight in the Streatham Common Community Garden.
