The GRIT School – a 7-week music industry and artist-development crash course – is open to applications from 16-24 year old musicians and people who want to work in the music industry now. In six years (not counting the pandemic) more than 120 musicians have graduated GRIT school.
Connecting
The programme gives insights into the ever-changing music industry, building creative and business skills whilst connecting young people to a professional network, shaping the next generation of the industry. It is for musicians, producers and others not in education, employment or training.
Perfecting
The course includes workshops led by industry professionals – from label managers to radio pluggers. These workshops will help grow the professional networks that music and musicians need. This year world-renowned promoter Live Nation are hosting and delivering industry seminars. (NB: If you’re an Industry Professional who’d like to run a session as part of our programme then please get in contact – we’re always looking for contributors).
Performing
Young musicians will also improve their performance skills, grow in confidence and collaborate with like-minded creatives. Our last live show was in June 2022, with performances ranging from hip hop, pop, and RnB.
