The day will start with a parade from Lambeth Town Hall to Windrush Square Brixton for a wreath laying. A public event being run in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and community partners will also be held in Windrush Square from 2pm at the African and Caribbean War Memorial.

Tickets for this event featuring a remembrance parade, wreath laying ceremony and moments of community reflection are available online at Remembrance Sunday on Windrush Square Tickets, Sun 9 Nov 2025 at 14:00 | Eventbrite.

The Windrush Square event will be attended by serving volunteers, veterans, youth groups, faith organisations, and the community to honour the contributions of African, Caribbean and Commonwealth service personnel, and remember all those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
