Over the course of four days the Streatham Food Festival will be showcasing Streatham’s vibrant food scene and giving you the chance to try some of the best places to eat and drink in South London.

Streatham Food Tour, Thursday 5 June – Saturday 7 June

Take a food tour of the world in Streatham over three days, with taster menus available in 29 local restaurants and cuisines ranging from Turkish to Indian, Ghanaian to Thai. With dishes priced at just £2-£5 each, the tour provides the perfect opportunity to try a wide range of foods without breaking the bank.

The Sunday Food Fair returns to Streatham Green with a fantastic range of food and drink, face painting, live music, an interactive art installation, advice on healthy eating and live cooking demos in the demonstration tent. It promises to be a fabulous day of food, fun and community.

The food festival is about more than just consuming, there are also many events throughout the festival covering healthy eating, food growing and sustainability.

In addition to the events above, the festival line-up also includes:

Ways to get involved

If you love the Streatham Food Festival and want to get involved as a volunteer there is still time. They are particularly looking for volunteers to promote the Streatham Food Tour from 5 – 7 June, as a ‘Food Tour Guide’.

Lambeth Volunteer Month

We’ve designated the whole of June as volunteering month here in Lambeth. There are many wonderful opportunities available throughout the borough in a wide range of groups and skills. We will be highlighting just some of these throughout the month.

If you would like to get more involved with your local community or are looking for volunteers please go to our  Do the Right Thing pages or Twitter hashtag #volunteermonth
