Whether you are 55 or 105 the Older People’s Information Directory has been put together to include any and all activities, groups, help and information to keep you busy, healthy and happy!
It contains over 1,300 entries and is also a great resource for carers, families, health workers and advisors who want to keep up to speed with local services.
No matter if you’re looking to join a chess club, try Zumba, get some housing advice or find your nearest pharmacy, you will find what you need on the directory. We also have details of carers’ support, day centres, day trips, lunch clubs and befriending.
Huge variety
The Directory was originally created to collate services for people with dementia with the support of Southwark and Lambeth Integrated Care (SLIC). However with the help of Lambeth Action on Malnutrition Project (LAMP), Lambeth and Southwark Councils, Clinical Commissioning Groups and local hospitals, it has grown to include a huge variety of useful and exciting information for all older people.
You can find it online at directory.ageuklambeth.org.uk or if you have trouble accessing the internet you can call one of our advisors on 020 7095 5720, and they will be happy to send the information out for you.
“The Twilighters Singing Group have been really pleased to welcome three new members this October, thanks to the Lambeth Age UK Directory!” said Roz from the Twilighters
If you know of a group or service for older people that is missing from the directory please let us know about it by contacting info@ageuklambeth.org.uk or 020 7733 0528.
