Lambeth Country Show line-up announced

The Country Show is held in Brockwell Park between Brixton and Herne Hill and will run over the weekend of June 8 and June 9. This summer’s show will keep its distinctive celebration, highlighting the best of both the city and countryside.

Cllr Donatus Anyanwu, Cabinet Member for Stronger Communities, Leisure and Sports, said: “The Lambeth Country Show is a summer highlight for our borough and our communities, so I’m delighted that there is such a strong line up for this year’s 50th anniversary edition.

“We have worked hard to keep this as a free community event, despite the very tough financial times we face, because the Lambeth Country Show is a brilliant opportunity for our communities to come together for a safe, inclusive and most of all a fun time.”

The annual event has been held by Lambeth Council since 1974 and combines the best of the city and the countryside, with live music, sheep shearing, vegetable sculpture competitions, community stands and so much more. More than 100,000 people attended over the weekend in June 2023.

The Lambeth Country Show organised by Lambeth Council, in partnership with Brockwell Live. To find out more about the Lambeth Country Show visit www.lambethcountryshow.co.uk and follow twitter.com/lblcountryshow.
