National March for Palestine, passing through Vauxhall on Saturday 11 November

The march is due to start in Hyde Park at 12.30pm, but the route will cross Vauxhall Bridge and head towards the US embassy in Nine Elms Lane. Large numbers of people are expected to be in the area and the police have advised that they are likely to remain until around 4.30pm.

An extensive policing operation is in place to facilitate and manage the event. A large number of road closures, and high levels of congestion, are expected before, during and after the march.

Lambeth residents are advised to carefully consider their plans in and around the Vauxhall and Nine Elms area on Saturday, and the impact the march may have on them.

We also expect bus diversions all along the route, and also expect significant additional congestion at train, tube and bus stations including Vauxhall, Battersea Power Station, Nine Elms, Clapham Common, Clapham North, Clapham Junction and Queenstown Road.
