Better Lambeth - Environment - News and announcements

Spring has sprung – we want your photos

Because of this we recently launched a Twitter mission to get your lovely pictures of Spring so that we could feature them and show everyone that there’s plenty of reasons to love Lambeth.

We’ve had a really great response – from park pictures, daffodils, crocuses and even blossom. Brockwell Park and Tivoli Park have been in the spotlight too.

Below is a selection of the pictures of Spring in Lambeth that we’ve had so far, and how lovely it looks too. What do you think? Tweet us your pictures (@lambeth_council with #springlambeth) and we’ll add them in.

And while we’re talking about parks. If you love enjoying Lambeth’s parks in the Spring weather. What would you do if you were in charge of the parks budget? Would you plant more flowers, build a fountain or open more sports facilities? Have a go on the Lambeth Parks Challenge and show us – the challenge puts you in charge of a whole park – a virtual one anyway… Visit the Lambeth Parks Challenge website.
