The company offering the cheapest deal on the day gets to offer you a new contract. However, there is no obligation to sign up to a new provider, so you have nothing to lose by registering.
Key Dates for the next auction:
2 February – deadline for registration.
3 February – auction starts and the company offering the cheapest deal on the day gets to offer you a new contract.
13 February – personal offer letter sent to you showing if you will save money. Only then do you have to decide whether you wish to accept the offer.
16 March – if you wish to accept the offer, your contract must be returned by this date.
