What’s happening during Clean Air Week?

There’s a variety of family, business and resident themed events happening across the borough. See what’s happening for Clean Air Week here.

Tell us what you’re doing for Clean Air Week this week or Clean Air Day on 15 June by tweeting #CleanAirWeek to @Lambeth_council

Get involved – join the campaign for Better Air

In the coming months we’ll also be campaigning for the infrastructure and regulations we need to in place to urgently protect Lambeth residents from dangerous levels of air pollution. To subscribe for updates on this – the Better Air Campaign – and other local news, sign up to the Love Lambeth newsletter.

Anti-idling Action Days

We hold regular action days to encourage drivers to switch their engines off by educating them about how air pollution affects health. When approached in a friendly way, most drivers switch off their engines and many pledge never to idle again.

For more information about anti-idling events, or if you’d like to volunteer to help at a future event, please email sustainability@lambeth.gov.uk.

What else are we doing about air pollution in Lambeth?

Our Air Quality Action Plan outlines what the council will be doing to tackle air pollution from 2017 to 2022.
